In 1994 the 3DO company announced they where developing an upgrade to their videogame console based on the IBM powerpc technology. In october 1995 the technolgy got exclusivly licensed to MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL, a Japanese corporation for $100 million. The M2 game console was never released. The only thing left now 15 years later is a handfull of useless technology including a handfull of arcade machines and a Coffee automat. Pretty expensive Coffee machine if you ask me.
